Privacy policy

The short version
We collect only what you choose to send us, we use it only to help you, and we never sell it. This site uses no cookies, no advertising trackers and no analytics that follow you.
What we collect
- Forms. When you send a message or tour request, we receive the name, email, phone number, timeframe and message you enter.
- Phone and email. When you call or write, we keep what you share so we can help you.
- Basic server logs. Our web host keeps standard technical logs, such as IP address and pages requested, to run the site securely.
Messages to a cemetery can include sensitive news, such as a serious illness or a death. Please share only what you are comfortable sharing. You can always call instead.
How we use it
Only to reply to you, arrange tours and burials, keep the records Ohio law requires of a cemetery, and run this website.
Who sees it
Ascend staff. Our web host, Netlify, processes form submissions on our behalf. We do not sell, rent or trade your information. We share it only when the law requires it, or with your permission, such as with your funeral director.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry messages only as long as needed to help you. Burial and cemetery records are kept permanently, as cemetery law requires.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the inquiry information we hold about you. Call (330) 681-0008 or email ascendburial@gmail.com.
Other websites
Our Visit page shows a Google map. Google's own privacy policy applies to that map. Links to other sites are covered by those sites' policies.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
